Valentine is ZCTU First Vice President and 1st Vice President for Zimbabwe Revenue and Allied Workers Trade Union (ZIMRATU). Valentine is a holder of BSC (Hons) in Economics (UZ), MSc in Development Studies (NUST), Bachelor of Laws,LLB (UNISA). He has more than 12 years experience with ZIMRA, Customs and Tax administration, with 6 years as a Tax Auditor and over 7 years as a customs officer. Valentine has more than 10 years of active participation in Trade Union activities and has occupied different positions since 2012. CHIKOSI has vast experience in Labour matters, research and negotiation. He was involved in various research and consulting work. He was recently appointed to the following; Board Member ZIMCODD; ZCTU Representative to CCM(Country Coordinating Mechanism – a Global Fund and Ministry of Health board) and He is the member of the TNF board, Trustee ZIMRA STAFF PENSION FUND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, Counsellor Zimbabwe Revenue Collecting Industry NEC (Chairing for the Trade Union). Valentine is the current chairperson of the Hwirisha Community Development Association, an initiative for development of a local rural area. He is interested in Economic Research, Human Rights and International Trade Policy and Law.
